The Frank & JoAnne Noyes Award of Excellence
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SAFETY OF FEMALE ATHLETES
An AOSSM Annual Award of Excellence was recently established to recognize outstanding clinical and laboratory research that promotes safe and injury-free athletic participation for female athletes.
The award encourages collaborative research by teams of MD-PhD-DPT-ATC investigators and will be awarded at the AOSSM annual meeting. Funding is provided by the Frank R Noyes MD and JoAnne Noyes RN Research and Education Fund. AOSSM stated “Your gift will make a world of difference to the future of sports medicine research
and in particular to research focused on the safety of female athletes”. Further details coming soon on the AOSSM website.
